The Delinquent Tax Collector (DTC) is reposnsible for collecting all taxes that remain unpaid after the final, 4th quarter due date of May 15th (or first business thereafter if it falls on a weekend). The DTC is an agent of the town operating independantly outside of the Town Office. Duties include mailing out delinquency notices, collecting delinquent taxes and passing them to the Treasurer, and organizing annual Property Tax Sales.
