OFFICE CLOSED MONDAY, JULY 4 -The Town Office will be closed on July 4. Hope to see you at the parade! The Town Clerk will reopen on Tuesday, July 5, at 8 am.
PRIMARY ELECTION ON AUGUST 9: Voting will be at Brewster-Pierce School on August 9. The polls will be open 6:30 am to 7 pm. All COVID safety measures will be in place. Please wear your mask – please bring a mask with you. You may request an absentee ballot to be sent to you or you can pick up a ballot and take it with you (you may not pick up another voter’s ballot, however, you can request ballots in the mail for others). We do not have all the ballots yet.
August 9 TOWN VOTE ON PROPOSED LAND USE REGULATIONS
The voters of Huntington will go to the polls on August 9 to vote on the Huntington Land Use Regulations, a new document that combines zoning, subdivision & flood hazard regulations into a single document. In addition to changes in the regulations that have been in the works for seven years, this document proposes to bring the town into compliance with State planning laws and the Huntington Town Plan. It will be voted on by Australian ballot at the polls on Tuesday, August 9, 2022. For questions about the regulations, please contact the Selectboard at email@example.com (802-434-4779). PROPERTY TAX INFORMATION
The 2022-2023 tax rate has not been set; nor have the bills been printed. It is expected that the bills will go into the mail before July 15, as the first payment is due August 15. By statute, the bills must be sent 30 days before the first installment is due.

LOWER VILLAGE WASTEWATER FEASIBILITY AND AFFORDABILITY STUDY
Project details on the possibility of having a municipal wastewater system in the Lower Village.
The green reflective signs with your 9-1-1 address are available at the Huntington Town Clerk’s Office. The cost is $10 and they are made to order. The proceeds from the sale of these signs go directly to Huntington First Response/Fire Department. Call the office (434-2032) or email firstname.lastname@example.org and the sign will be made for you to pick up.
