Licensing
All Dogs owned in the Town of Huntington must be registered with the Town Clerk pursuant to Title 20 Vermont Statutes Annotated, Section 3581 et. seq. Dog Licenses are normally available at the Town Clerk’s Office. During COVID, register through the mail- find the form below. In order to register your dog, you must have a copy of the current Rabies Certificate. There are no licensing requirements for cats or other animals at this time.
Dog License January 1 – April 1 $13 (pick up) $15 (mailed)
Dog License April 2 – September 30 $19 (pick up) $21 (mailed)
Dog License October 1-December 31 $8.50 (pick up) $10.50 (mailed)
Dog licenses are good until April 1, of the following year.
