The primary purpose of the Buildings and Grounds Committee (established by the Selectboard) is to evaluate and analyze Town-owned buildings in order to develop a comprehensive and prioritized building-specific Capital Plan. The Capital Plan will include analysis and recommendations for current and future building operating, maintenance and new project costs. The Committee will work closely with building/department stakeholders and other local and neighboring resources in the data collection, analysis and development of recommendations for the Selectboard. The work will include: Phase 1 (Buildings) and Phase 2 (Grounds).
REQUEST FOR QUOTES: – WINTER MAINTENANCE
TOWN of HUNTINGTON: REQUEST FOR PLOWING/SHOVELING QUOTES
After many years of excellent service for the Town, Camel’s Hump Landscaping is taking a break from winter maintenance. As a result, the Selectboard’s Buildings & Grounds Committee is seeking quotes from local contractors for the upcoming winter season (beginning with the first snow fall).
The work includes providing winter maintenance for the Fire Station and Town Office—and possibly the Town Hall—in Huntington Center. Parking lot plowing for three (3) plus inches of snow accumulation and shoveling the walkway/building access areas will need to be completed by 7:45am.
Contractors are required to provide up-to-date Certificates of Liability Insurance naming the Town of Huntington as the certificate holder.
The deadline for submitting written quotes is 8am, Monday, September 28, 2015.
Prior to submitting a quote, you will need to schedule a site visit and receive additional details by contacting Town Administrator Barbara Elliott at townhunt -at- gmavt -dot- net or calling 434-4779.
Meetings will be held as needed based upon team’s need to meet.
