Town Meeting- March 3, 2026
Elections for 11 town positions March 3, 2026

Absentee Ballots are available from the Town Clerk’s Office during regular business hours. You must be a registered Huntington voter, age 18 years and older to vote in this election. If you are not going to vote on March 3, 2026 at the polls, you can stop by and pick up a absentee ballot packet. Requests for mailing out absentee ballots will be done through Wednesday, February 25, 2026.

PLEASE NOTE: By law, the Town Clerk’s Office can only hand the ballot to the voter (you cannot pick up a ballot for someone else, so plan accordingly).

Dog Registrations Now Open We are registering dogs for 2026. The deadline (state law, is April 1) after which the fee goes up and fines can be imposed. All dogs are $15 until April 1 and the rabies vaccination needs to be on file with the Town Clerk. You can call our office to see if yours is here. Registration form is available here.

ETHICS TRAINING FOR MUNICIPAL OFFICIALS Effective January 1, 2025, many local officials are required to have training by the new Ethics Commission that addresses the Municipal Code of Ethics. Municipal officers have until September 25, 2025 to complete the training. Town Clerk Heidi Racht is the town’s point of contact to the Commission if residents wish to file a formal complaint.
